VIZ 2006 is the 3D modeling, rendering, and presentation software that provides state-of-the-art image creation technologies for communicating and sharing your design intent. The tool palettes provide instant access to frequently used objects such as materials, cameras, and lights that address your specific design needs. DWG File Link enables you to connect Autodesk VIZ directly to DWG source files in AutoCAD software?based products. With Revit Building you can import or link a Revit model via the DWG format and have scene objects correspond directly to individual Revit Building objects. Also, the Autodesk file format gives you the ability to import both IPT files and IAM files. You can sweep a user-defined shape, or take simple linework and apply preset shapes or structural shapes with the Sweep Modifier feature. The Scene State utility enables you to capture object, layer, material, camera, and light information, and save it as a 'scene state'. Featuring schematic view, radiosity adaptive subdivision and rendering presets, this software improves the creation process and produces compellingly realistic visualizations.
